Nigeria, our brain weeps

In Nigeria, our brain weeps, burdened by despair,
Dreams crushed, hopes shattered, beyond repair,
Yet we fight on, with resilience in our soul,
Nigeria, in this darkness, we struggle to find a role.

Nigeria, oh Nigeria, you test our resilience,
A rollercoaster ride with emotional brilliance,
From the chaos in cities to the corruption we see,
Our mental health suffers, yearning to be free.

The struggles of daily life take their toll,
As we navigate the maze, trying to reach our goal,
The constant unrest and political strife,
Leaves us weary, drained, longing for life.

But amidst the darkness, a glimmer of light,
The strength of the people, a powerful sight,
Nigeria, our spirit will not be subdued,
We rise above the challenges, we push through.

Let us seek solace in our shared humanity,
Supporting each other through love and unity,
Nigeria, it's time to heal and mend,
To prioritize mental health, our hearts to tend.

Together, we can create a brighter day,
Where mental well-being finds its rightful way,
Nigeria, let's break the chains, set ourselves free,
For a nation that values mental health is where we want to be.
