A Wondrous Wanderer
© Kapsata

I stood on the shoulders
Of a short but tall-in-mind wanderer.
I was like on top of mount Everest.
Oh! What a paradise it was to gaze.

My eyes diffracted through his eye's lens,
Like a telescope they were.
Until dusk would I wait and it was all sorted.
From Andromeda Nebula to the Crevices of the Moon,
All were gazed as in a mirror.

Ringing through his ears,
were the sounds of children from afar,
The air filled with their laughter,
Soon after the supper during the new moon.

By his feet was I taken to the shores,
The Ocean mirrored heavenly paradise.
The horizons showed no bounds of it.
From the big Whale to the smallest Paedocypris,
From Algae to Posidonia Australis,
All were harbored as one in it.

What fascinating thing was left unwatched?
His mind could cross the borders yonder,
I'd love to make my dwelling place there,
So, I could explore through him.
