Dark is the night,
Darker the soul,
Fathomless depths,
Stories untold
Memories,some forgotten,
Others remembered,
But are rather left unsaid
The gloom within us
Unerasable
The pain
Undescribable
But we still hope,
That at every darkness there's light
And every pain there's hope
Or is it all just a fleeting dream
In the middle of a nightmare?
Is it a thought
Amidst my many despairs?
Or is my hope to smile just a wish
among many unanswered?
