My noisy neighborhood
My friend is the neighbor's daughter,
Compared to me,she is a little shorter.
Opposite to it, lives an old couple,
Who always have fried fish for supper.
For your information, I hate seafood,
And its strange smell creates a bad mood.
On the third floor, lives my classmate,
And for school, he is always late.
My long forgotten friend lives on the second floor,
While climbing the stairs, I pass by his door.
In our garage, lives a fat cat,
And she is always resting beside the dustbin on a mat.
Beside my window, is a pigeon's nest,
And I could see its babies at rest.
Infront of my window is another,
Where lives an old woman with her brother.
A house lies opposite to a nearby shop,
Which is owned by a retired cop.
Beside the park lies a swing,
And over there, one could hear the birds sing.
In the winter season, we play in the badminton court,
And in the rainy season, children play around with their paper boats.
A fun fair is held in our neighborhood every year,
From where I bought my first story book called Nancy and the brown bear.
Football matches are held every Sunday,
And the rest, I will tell you some other day.
