ONLY DOGS SHOULD
QUARREL

Furious was the little girl
As her parents didn't turn up
To see her act
As Cinderella in her
School Day Drama.
She returned home
With pent up fury
To pick up a quarrel
With her parents.


Her mother opened the door and
One look at her mother's
Reddish, swollen cheek
Evaporated all her
Pent up anger.
" They must have quarrelled as usual",
She thought, " and
Her father must have
Slapped her mother.
And that explained their absence."


She felt sorry for her mother and
Didn't say anything lest
Her mother would
Break down in tears....
