How does it feel
#WritcoPoemPrompt2
In the end it was just me and my thoughts,
A painful trap, long after you were gone.
I thought you'd come back,
To admit you were wrong.
What offspring are you,
You come in and out of my life.
In the end you remain,
A cheat and a liar.
What did I do wrong?
To deserve to feel this feeling.
Like a storm brewing in my heart,
Like the river drying out.
Like season changing,
Like the weather venting.
It's funny when you ask,
How does it feel?
To be lonely and broken?
To be sad and hurt?
To trust and be betrayed?
By your best friend,
And a trusted sibling?
What do you think?
How does it feel?
I guess you never thought,
How it'd feel for you.
You just did it to me
