In the dead of the night when the world is at rest
I am screaming in my head
Sweating from the inner wounds
I feel colder than the night
Alone than the silence
And every time I wake up from a bad dream
The real nightmare begins
Daydreaming in my nightmare
Wishing someone were here

I lie in my bed and close my eyes
Think of all the good things
Sprinkled over my dark desert life
It's hard …and getting harder every night
Now it’s not only my mind
My body feels paralyzed too
I can’t move an inch though I want to run away
I have been crying for help…crying to myself to move
Daydreaming in my nightmare
Wishing someone will hold me
