Heart's Desire
#WritcoPoemPrompt
Write a poem that includes at least five from the ten words given: (You can use more words of your choice to complete.)
Wish, desire, heart, star, reflection, smile, existence, behold, serene, warmth.

In the depths of our hearts, there lies a wish,
A desire that burns like a star, we can't resist.
We gaze upon our reflection, searching for a clue,
To find our purpose, our path, to see it through.

But what we truly long for is much more,
To find a smile that speaks of a soul at its core.
An existence that's filled with joy and bliss,
A life that's lived fully, not a moment to miss.

Behold the beauty of nature, the wonder of it all,
The mountains, the oceans, the trees standing tall.
The serenity of a sunset, the warmth of a dawn,
A world so magnificent, we can't help but fawn.

As we journey through life, we seek to find,
The meaning of our existence, to free our mind.
To bask in the light of the sun, to dance in the rain,
To embrace all the joys and the sorrows, without restrain.

Our hearts beat in unison, with the rhythm of life,
As we navigate through trials, through struggle and strife.
But in the end, it's the memories we create,
The love we share, the moments we appreciate.

So let us cherish each day, let us make it count,
For every second is precious, it's an amount.
May our hearts be filled with hope, with love, with light,
As we journey through this world, with all our might.

And as we look up at the stars above,
We see the endless possibilities, the power of love.
For within our hearts, lies the strength to endure,
To face each challenge, to triumph, to be sure.

So let us hold on to our wishes and our dreams,
For they fuel our hearts, they guide us, it seems.
May we find the courage to chase after them,
To live a life of purpose, to never condemn.

And as we walk this path, we find a peace so serene,
A calmness that fills our soul, a tranquil scene.
For we know that we've lived, we've loved, we've grown,
And in the end, we'll look back, with a smile we'll own.
