in which they attempt challenges for destiny to ensure.
Chasing after rainbows in search of honor and glory,
like heroes who slayed dragons from a bedtime story.

Waking the next morning finding totally new situations,
with different characters upon whom rests great expectations.
Back to a place of structured existence and limited abilities,
where people wander around aimlessly within crowded cities.

Concerned about little things that don't matter very much,
while they become ever increasingly harder to touch.
In need of something which might restore their integrity,
and provide means to give them renewed pride and dignity.

When it's needed most in this age of rampant desperation,
as we welcome yet another young and eager generation.
Ready to leave their mark on an unsuspecting world,
like wooden ships upon the ocean with sails unfurled.
