Moon Light
The dark corner that no one can see,
Shine a light and there I will be.
My lowered head with hands on top,
The echoing splash of tears that drop.
The cold floor where I sit,
No place to sleep, nowhere to fit.
The moon light, my only friend,
I say goodnight as the day ends.
I wake again and to my dismay,
I'm still here, I'm stuck and stay.
I long for that light once again,
To hear a voice or touch from a friend.
