cuz now whenever someone hurts me
I'm not even hurt cuz it's nothing new
I've been more hurt by my family
more than a stranger could ever do
I've become an expert
at controlling my emotions
I can control my tears
at the most miserable moments
thanks to you who've
never allowed me to cry
because you believe
crying only makes you only weaker
