Oh, goodbyes;
I'll never get used to saying goodbye.
Those goodbyes that are permanent,
Goodbyes that will keep each other apart for many years,
Goodbyes that leave you wondering if you'll ever see each other again.

We also tend to push others away when all we want is for them to stay.
It was also enjoyable to meet strangers along the way,
Telling each other's stories and hardships,
Even for a brief,
Just to let those anxieties and worries at bay.
At the end of the day,
Not everyone will stay.

So, I say.
Cherish the moment while they are still with us today.
Even if those people change and things fade away,
Only in our memory,
They will stay.
