Ode to the Resilient Tree.
Amidst the green, a tree serene,
beneath a breeze, it stands supreme.
its leaves, a sea, a gentle dream,
a sanctuary, it does seem.
yet storms arrive, they fiercely scream,
the tree holds tight, a steadfast theme.
it bends but stands, a resilient gleam,
through trials faced, it redeems.
in spring, it buds, a hopeful beam,
in summer's heat, a vibrant stream.
in autumn's gold, a rich extreme,
in winter's cold, a silent scheme.
a witness to life's grand regime,
from birth to death, a constant stream.
through joy and strife, a constant theme,
this tree, a life's full theme.
