The Love That Hopes
You are like the dry, angry desert that holds nothing.
But God makes rivers even in the desert.
And I am made in God's image.
So I shall try to add at least one drop of water,
Whatever I have,
To those rivers.
The wilderness is void of life, excepting that which is hard and thorny.
But God crowns the parched ground with impossible blooms.
And I am made in God's image.
So I shall try to add at least one tiny flower,
Whatever I can,
To those colours.
The world says it is "foolish" to sacrifice so much for a "toxic" person. ...
