A duplicate of myself, with identical cares
The daily duppy, a shadow by my side
A constant reminder, to stay alive

With every breath, it mimics my pace
A silent companion, in this endless race
It echoes my thoughts and amplifies my fears
A daily reminder, to wipe away my tears

But as I gaze deeper, into its eyes
I see a strength, that I often disguise
A resilience, that helps me face the day
A daily duppy, that shows me the way

So I'll embrace this shadow, this mirror image true
And together we'll conquer, all that I pursue.
