Poetry inspired by this retro song

" Nothing's gonna change my love for you
You ought to know by now how much I love you......." by George Benson

A love bond of a couple where one lost other soulmate years ago.One of their letters which was found covered with dust during their last years which revealed their love for each other which is written in a poetic form.

"I will just be there,
Like a soulmate
Till the end.
What ever happens
In this life,
I will never leave you,
Will love you till the end.
Our love will exist in the turbulence
Unaware of all obstacles ,
Be there for me,
To hold me in the ages to come.

Someday bones will weaken my strength,
But I will be there
To hold you firmly ,
Like the pillar of strength,
Never will let you fall.
Such is our love
Which will never leave us,
This love will be there,
Never to fade.
In every darkest hour,
In every frustration,
In every turbulence,
In every pain,
In every joy,
In every hurt,
This the promise
From my heart
That nothing can ever come
as an obstacle on our path of love,
Where I will always be there
Never to let you part,
As you will always be in my heart forever."

This song has touched my heart throughout my life's experiences and always be one of my favourite which I have expressed it in this poem.
