The Birth Of Spring
* A collaboration with my friend once.upon.my.poetry on IG.

The ice and snow melts into the ground.
Water evaporates, trading the cold chill for a comforting presence.
Beauty rises, stoically, making life anew while destroying the dreaded Ides of March.
The cherry blossoms bloom, natures most sensual floral enlightened glow of a peaceful vision.
As Mother Nature gives a laborless birth to true elegance and glamour.
While Father Time smiles at the productivity of this day, standing back in awe of this wonderful spectacle.
Fairies do float and sway to the sounds,
to the rhythm of their wings,
to the music of angelic choruses.
Mystical magic is in the air with so much more to behold.
Robert W Jeter

The Beauty of Spring
The wheel of time will gently turn
One season fades, another returns
The sun pours down its rinse of gold
In radiant glimmers the earth enfolds
It is pure joy, a thrill to see
a covey of birds upon the hills flurry
The song of Spring upon their throats
from their breasts released
as they writhe and float
The latent trees now budding and lush
and flowers are palish upon the dappled brush
Where swarms of wings with colorful hues
like fairies pause to sip the dew
The thawing snow in streams resume
along journeying paths of sweet perfume
Kingdoms of the forest in masses crawl
a bed of flora rich with things that grow
It is the return of the lark, of the thrush
The laborless birth of prospects glamorous
A lyrical poem of the soothing noon
of the balmy breeze
that speaks to the quiet moon
of thoughts that sprout afresh, anew
as idleness dies and dreams mushroom
