Whispers
Whispers
Delighted by his words,
I searched for inspirations while in the mud,
In the deep oceans of my staggered faith,
I heard his voice but twas faint,
Panting tremendously,
My pupils dilated,
I could feel my heart excited.

Oh thou whispers of the almighty,
I had longed for thee!
Just like the wind, you calmed my nervous nerves.
I had sought thee at the temple of my heart,
How graceful must have been the month tebeth.

Though, you tarried like the coming of the bridegroom,
My enemies thought of it as a well spelt doom,
The urim and thummim became my daily toys,
They were my everyday toil.

Whispers,
Tarry not again,
For I was left in pain and disdain.
