I took a walk today
Along the way I made my observations
Even as I just took in the rush of my awareness

And the oppressive cold of winter was the winer

I was aware of winter

I was aware of life
I was aware of lights
I was saw a homeless lady just laying there
Not an uncommon sight...when there's a degree of warmth!!!!
IN THIS KINDA COLD!?

First of all THAT'S moxy
I've been moaning
And raving on
Unshaven
A real maniac look

And this gal is just chillin in the chill. I wanted to do something.

But I was one of those people
Walked right by
I got problems of my own right now,
like pressing problems

It's depressing

But when I got in my front door and felt the rush of heat...

With it came a rush of pure, uncut, 100% American gratitude. Gratification as well.

Like...I gotta glock. I gotta sock. I gotta buck. I gotta taco.

I'm doing pretty good

Hos abound when the man
Named Santa
Comes down your chimney

But me?
Santa came early

Thanks, dude

And I added with an affable chuckle, "I think I just got that warm Christmas feeling I forgot about."

And then I sat there and laughed at my knuckles
