An Ode To a New Day
Anew, I wake up from dozy slumber
Into a world of Beauty and of Cheer;
From a regular but dreary sleep,
To a blessed awakening so dear...
Anew, I get to meet them all,
All of whom I adore,
See their lovely faces, and tell'em
How I love them to the core...
Anew, I get to wake up,
To the life I got so sweet.
Live every moment of it,
Till I see it get complete...
Anew, I rise from my bed
with a lot of things to cherish,
To show my love to everyone,
and everything, before I perish.
Anew, I have woken to this life
But nobody knows when I may not,
Nor one knows when you,
or somebody you love, will go to sleep
Never to wake again, This I Construe...
So, Be grateful while you still can.
Say 'Thanks', 'Sorry' and 'I love you'.
For you never know, when this 'anew'
May no longer be true...
