One look at you and I know your thoughts
I can keep your stomach flipping in knots
You can't point it out but you are aware
That I'm a little different, my kind is rare
You don't dare say it but it runs through your head
Your curiosity peaks but your words are left unsaid
The mystery I possess adds to my charm
You question my intent, will I help or will I harm?
Not a hint of amusement can be seen upon my face
For I conceal it masterfully, leaving behind not a trace
I find your innocent wonder just a little bit sweet
Suddenly you are nervous as our eyes come to meet
You look away shyly, hoping for this moment to quickly pass
And I can't help myself now, I am forced to quietly laugh
You notice my slight chuckle and you calm a little bit
Exactly as I knew you would, it's cute I must admit
You are building up the courage to ask me the big question
Who or what I am.. but then you make the connection...
Your eyes widen in horror as a gasp leaves your lips
I flash a little smile as your sanity further slips
I gaze into your eyes so I can now reach your soul
No need to fear my dear, it'll be over before you know...
