so why do i always text first
and tell you stupid things about my day
just so i have an excuse?
if i didn’t i would hardly hear from you
even together theres barely a word
i feel as though we’re growing apart too soon
is it better that way?

or maybe i’m too attached
i tend to read too far into things
but this doesn’t feel right
