Miles Away
I can still see ,
the Santa's hats,
easter eggs and
dazzling stars,
lollies and christmas trees.

Still hear ,
the naughty laughs,
echoing the lonely walls;
grandpa's wild crackers,
late night carols and gossips.

Still smell ,
the chocolate cookies and dessert,
scrumptious dinner on the table
my grandma prepares.

But here iam,
miles away,
with no dazzling stars but
street lights.
No christmas trees,
just trees.
Late night carols are
just of the cricket's .

Realised,
I'm nothing but a star,
adoring the beauty of the sun
it'll never see..
