Life is Cruel and Death is Kind
For life is cruel and death is kind,
A paradox that plagues the mind,
We're born to struggle, fight and strive,
And yet, we know we can't survive.

Life is a game we're forced to play,
With ups and downs, each passing day,
We laugh, we cry, we hope, we fear,
And face the challenges, year after year.

We seek love, happiness, and peace,
But often find the pain won't cease,
We're broken, hurt, and scarred inside,
As life's cruel twists, we cannot hide.

We lose the ones we love so dear,
And face the pain that comes with fear,
The pain of loss, the emptiness,
That leaves us feeling so helpless.

We struggle to find our place in life,
To find our purpose, end the strife,
To make a mark, to leave a trace,
And hope to find a better place.

But death, it comes, a friend in need,
To give us rest, to end our greed,
It takes away our earthly pain,
And frees our souls to soar again.

We mourn the ones who pass away,
But death, it brings a brand new day,
A day of hope, a day of light,
A day of freedom from the fight.

It takes away our earthly pain,
And frees our souls to rise again,
To journey on, without the weight,
Of all the struggles that we face.

Death, it gives us a chance to rest,
To lay our burdens down and rest,
To be at peace, to find release,
And know that all our pain will cease.

For life is cruel and death is kind,
A truth that's hard for us to find,
But in the end, we all will see,
That death, it sets our spirits free.
