Sing Me Back Home
I know this my own sullen death,
Would bring me back alive to when,
'Twas me in a place I call my home.

Ring me, ping me, just sing for me,
Songs of the departed souls and,
On their notes and rhythms will I ride.

Here on earth I don't know how,
To live at peace and peace in full,
Sing me back home, let me go.

The falls and faults sorely get me low,
My heart and soul can't seem to cope,
O sing me back to where I don't face it alone.

Amidst the stars I used to pride,
A million gems but I am one,
I came to earth and lost that beaut.

Man vies nature, none wills for peace,
But to merely overcome so please,
Sing me back home I gladly yield.

As the eagle, unwavering, takes to flight,
In this mind I rest my might,
Sing me back home to where I don't fight alone.
