I feel you drifting away,
My mistakes are on display for you to see
That I'm not perfect, I admit the flaws,
Yet hope you'll stay, not close the door.
I work to mend what has been torn,
Please, have patience while I'm reborn,
Forgive my silence, my guarded heart,
I grew up confiding in my notebook,
Now I'm learning to let my walls down.
I pray that you see my missteps as,
A chance to bond you and me,
With patience, we'll find a way,
I hope my mistakes won't push you away,
but make you stay.
