The Lost Touch
#WritcoPoemPrompt124
A walk on a beach,
Both, on your bare feet,
So close and within reach,
A conversation brief but sweet.

Amid the moon and the stars,
With hidden love and open scars.
As the breeze felt little colder
I landed my head on your shoulder,
You caressed my hair with your hand
Chills down my spine, I curled my feet to the sand.

The silence felt wondrous
I melted to the breeze with every touch
As I pen it down now,
I wonder if I was thinking to much.

As I opened my eyes to the distant corner of the sea,
I realised how you weren't next to me.
To fathom the wonders of my mind,
I realised how all of this will never be.
