There's little to learn, my friend:
The end is the end is the end.
Spend more time on the living,
On poetry, friends and giving.
The love of the past is aghast
At the lowering of life's mast.
Yet when it's over, it's really over,
It's a miracle we're still in clover.
For who's gone, we drop a tear.
