Once in Bethlehem,
A small town of Judea,
There shone a light so bright,
Which engulfed the darkness of the whole world.
On a cold morning of December,
Birth of a baby boy,
In a manger small and cozy,
Swaddled in all white.
Angels preaching the Good News,
Of the Saviour born,
Dancing with the heavenly host,
Celebrating the coming of Jesus.
The shephards and wise men,
All curious to know the truth,
Walked a long way from far East,
To worship the King of Kings.
