Join my introspection that's too deep if you can't swim you gon' die
I'm letting all my sharks take a bite of the small fish before they eat me alive
Just a reminder this is a conversation between you and I
I passed out from carrying a heavy heart
I woke up to a cold wet pillow and as I dig into my memory...
I remember how silent my cries were in my sleep
These tears water my strong black beard but the same can't be said about me
As these tears overflow like the Nile river after days of heavy rain... I remind myself of the sun that will be shining bright in my face
I've said my apologies but I have not found peace
The visuals of the atrocities and crimes that I have committed are beating me into depression and anxiety
But I still fail the test of going out sad
I don't leave my bed feeling worse than someone dealing with regret
As I fumble my steps to glory, I am walking beside myself with a blury vision covered in tears
Outrageous laughs from the voices in my head trying to instill fear
But now that I am here...
I am so proud of the biggest accolades I can still collect like a brand new day and a prayer in between the light and dark
Lively personality...
Yet am so dead inside
But I trust this healing process and may I find a better place to position my coping mechanism because...
My defense is down
Suicidal thoughts creeping through my thick skin unannounced
Will I ever be someone who is loved?
I'm so alone that my weed dosage is way higher than I would be on my most depressed days
I smoke all my weed in a day I guess that's how I stay sane
There's a 2 way street to my memory lane but I hit a u-turn as soon as I approach this place
I would love to further this conversation but I have to go... I am a prayer away should you feel the strength of my absence
I got weed to smoke, while I share these thoughts with my substance
Am sorry but I think I've said enough but it was just a conversation we shall soon have again... When the time is right...
