Leading through the pages of the books I read,
My dreams & I decided to knot together with thread

It was a feeling too beautiful to express in words
Happiness and life were on cloud 9, flying high like birds

The reality of lives were hidden somewhere in the dark,
The convo with a real life, somehow I couldn't hit spark.

The only mistake I ever made was to not stand for me,
A decision for myself & forget oppose, I couldn't plea.

Times went by & my inner self shattered in the guilt,
In front of my eyes was the falling foundations I built.

Even today, it's hard to say the decision was good or bad,
But even today, I miss that only dream of my life I had.

Maybe I have learnt to live with the sorrow of my story,
Living with that pieces, the darkness is now my glory!
