Here’s my list of Universal signs
the ones I know by heart
Dirty dishes in the sink
Tired, tired, tired

Alarm goes off, hit the snooze
shower, pull clothes on
Hair is wet, dance shoes tied
Late, late, late

Driving twenty miles one way
out to lunch with friends
Trivia at the church tonight
Busy, busy, busy

Television show rerun plays
lights are on, I’m out
On the couch, street clothes still
Snooze, snooze, snooze

Tired, messy house, wet hair,
driving all day long
Staying up too late or naps,
my indicators for retired
