Life being strange in its own ways,
Lively bonds turning gloomy with just a phrase.
While it might take more than a month to build,
The foundation can stumble even with a minute guilt.
While you promise to hold till they hit the rock bottom,
Promises start disappearing into thin air even before they blossom.
While you ensure they have anyone except the loneliness surrounding them,
You fail to notice that you were walking all alone with an emptiness in a Mayhem.
While you were busy kneading each pearl of purity into the thread of immense connection,
You overlooked the other end getting broken because of lack of affection.
While you were carefully steering away the doubt off the pavement to a house of emotions,
You did not pay attention to the fogged up windows that were covered with a mist of chaotic commotion.
And all this while you were dreaming of walking into a world that you always desired,
The universe had different plans for you altogether, just enough to touch and let go of the things that once got you inspired.
