Imagined Heart
In worlds where dreams and stories blend,
A love begins that has no end,
A character, a crafted soul,
In fiction’s realm, my heart you stole.

With every page, with every line,
Your essence weaves into mine,
A hero’s heart, a lover’s grace,
In ink and words, I see your face.

Adventures vast, where you are bold,
A tale that’s timeless, often retold,
Through trials fierce, and battles won,
My heart beats with you, two as one.

Though crafted by another’s hand,
In my dreams, you take a stand,
A presence felt in every thought,
A love so real, though you’re not.

You speak with wisdom, voice so clear,
A sound that only I can hear,
In every chapter, every scene,
You live within my heart’s serene.

I follow where your footsteps tread,
In lands of magic, battles bled,
Through forests deep, on mountains high,
Together we, though worlds deny.

Yet when the final page is turned,
And reality’s touch is returned,
I find my heart a bit forlorn,
For in your absence, it is torn.

How can a love so true, so deep,
Exist in dreams where shadows sleep?
A figment of a writer’s pen,
Yet more to me than other men.

In whispered winds, your name I call,
In silent rooms, upon my wall,
Your image stays, a steadfast mark,
A beacon in my yearning dark.

For though you are but ink and lore,
A love like ours can be much more,
In fantasies where you and I,
Can live and love, though truth’s a lie.

So here I am, in quiet awe,
Of love that fiction’s heart did draw,
A character, a phantom flame,
In my heart, forever named.

Though you may never truly see,
The love that’s grown inside of me,
In every book, in every tale,
Our love endures, it will not pale.

Imagined heart, my distant muse,
In you, a love I cannot lose,
For in my soul, you’ve made a place,
A timeless, endless, sweet embrace.
