Christmas decorations go up early
It seems like every year
We barely make it through Labor Day
When the hints of Christmas start to appear
I think Christmas has gotten
WAY to over commercialized
I think some have forgotten the TRUE meaning
And what Christmas is supposed to symbolize
Christmas doesn't mean to hurry to the local Walmart
Buy everything you saw that was advertised
Come home, wrap it all up
Making sure it's all perfectly personalized
Christmas has been made
All about giving and receiving
Christmas is also about the stories of Santa
Coming down everybody's chimney
Santa will leave presents for all
The good little boys and girls
He takes his reindeers and his sleigh
Hitting every house in the entire world
Now how Santa does this all in one night
Is way beyond my pay grade
BUT getting up on Christmas morning also
To go march in the downtown parade?!!?!?
I can see why they take a whole year to recover
From participating in all the Christmas festivities
But when September and October come back around
They start getting ready again to make all the deliveries
On December 24th, Santa again leaves presents
For all the good little boys and girls
He takes his reindeers and his sleigh
Hitting every house in the entire world
