Once upon a time they met on a way
His random walk gave him time to stay
But she was in hurry, so she ran away.
With formal talks she was all okay
Anything more than that was enough to slay

Texts, calls or meetings he insists
No, no she says and simply dismiss
The effort, the importance , the extra care
She notices all yet act unaware

Broken arm, sudden cold and despair
Even minor problems of his life makes her sad
Still when they encounter she pretends as if she doesn’t cares.

It was not that she doesn’t feel love
But fear of future consequences doesn’t allow her to go ahead.
His thoughts are enough to make her smile
The day dreaming, the lost nights the overthinking ignite
Yet keeping everything to herself, is what she decides
Because otherwise things will be beautiful for some days but then it will eventually shrivel

What if she couldn’t stay with him in the long run?
What if she couldn’t gear up the courage to fight?
What if they fall but couldn’t unite?

These questions makes her all awake,
No this is not right she says to herself.
If there is no chance of tomorrow then better keep things aside.

I won’t promise forever neither hurt him in any sense.
Since this attachment and detachment might push him in emotional mess.
She builds high barriers to keep emotions in control
Not to flow with the magic but rather see reality and peacefully adore.

Let destiny take complete charge of everything the heart wants to do and say.
Although he was the only one she wanted to stay,
But still silently she pushed him away.
