Calveries cross is where my sins are laid,
Calveries cross is where mountains are razed,

Calveries story, is Jesus and mines,
God came down from glory to save me from dying,
They whipped him, they mocked him, they asked for a sign,
His blood flowed from bruises not one drop was mine,

Calveries Savior, they treat him unkind,
He prayed to the father and sometimes he cried,
with a mind set on heaven he endured the fight,
Not my will but God's will, He never defied,

Calveries cross can save all humankind,
yet we constantly reject him having no better. light,
and look how we repay him for a love so divine,
with wickedly evil and selfish desires,

I am Calveries child, I was born through the cross,
buried in water, raised no longer lost,
to death I am no debtor for Christ paid the cost,
He raised me up stronger to fight as he fought
