Fainted Breaths: Divine Shift
I've watched myself age abruptly
With the things I've said.
Fading, Diminishing every hour,
I'm convinced I conformed to a madman.
My bones ached, my muscles felt liquid,
My thoughts slower, my dreams found an exit.
I noticed every birthday
Like an alarm ringing in my head.
Not too long ago I felt a shift,
Reclaiming strength in my steps,
Realising from silence my age ceased,
As my soul regained its hold,
Permeating youthfulness in my soul,
I'd run a mile just because,
I'm no more a squatter at death door.
It's ominous whispers became my thoughts,
Therefore I acted on whims not my own.
Now I stand the victor
Ushered by divine intervention.
My story has not found its end,
All Glory Belongs To God.
