Filtering rays of sunshine,
Brighten up my day,
My heart swells with hope and pride,
Keen for the glories coming my way...
oh how wonderful this sounds to the ear
Imigine if life were this way
our paths and destinies all clear
each and every day
Gone then would be the thrill of excitement
as you would never know of boredom
gone would be a sense of happiness
as you would never know any kind of saddness
gone would be originally
as we would all share the same sense of contentment
gone would be you
as there would not be a reason
hardships can be just as appreciated as prosperity
but only reveling later on in our lives
