A Dream of Togetherness
Someday we shall be together,
It's a dream I nurture,
To walk with our hands entwined,
And we shall finally be united.
I make one wish to this universe,
Let her and me traverse,
The skies in tight embrace,
And nights I spend cupping her face.
In my arms she shall lie with smile,
One such night is worthwhile,
To giving my entire life as ransom,
And live through her love storm.
She doesn't know how I miss,
Like a parched earth I crave for her kiss,
The first rain of the mansoon after summer,
And alone at night, her smile is all I remember.
