Forgetting the Hate

You might not know it
Sometimes I forget what I can't see
I don't remember, until it is the way you look at me
You may not feel but I know that part isn't real
Because we experienced every day expressing how we feel
I'm not ignorant to the awareness that your not mine but you never have been we spent less time appreciating life
We had it all I have even more now
I just want to know more and what it is your all about
I look at you and all I can see in your face
Because with you all the good times remembered all the bad became a waste
I'm not a disgrace
I under stand Love is not a lie
it's hard to appreciate life when you spent every day wanting to die
We got us here and in our divide
We can run from our past but there's nowhere to hide
This poem is for you in from out my heart I confide
I kept us safe you made us secure
There was never any obstacle we couldn't endure
You deserve the credit and it's time to pay do
If only you still saw me as the guy who would do anything for you
My mind accepts that's there's no pleasure in shame
My heart understands I'm this break 💔 there Noone to fault we are both to blame
Hopefully one day you'll see the same.
Noone been able to deal with my poise is why I acknowledge the presence of beauty in the mist of all the noise
it is hard knowing if this is our fate
you can't find Love when we are blinded by hate
