Autism is
Unique thinking,
Trouble masking,
Incessant tapping,
Sensory taxing,
Truly isolating,
Inabilities associating,
Confused functioning.

Life is lonely
On the spectrum, for
No one understands.
Expected I should pretend
Like I'm one of them, yet
I'm still without a friend.
Never knowing them.
Even chosen kin,
Simply can't comprehend.
Symptoms treated like a sin, but
I don't wanna be like them...
