The revelation
First, it was a river,
Light and soothing it was,
A wetness, as clear as the crystals.
Then an ocean,
Heavier it weighed,
As a scoop of dirt, floating over the foam.
What he poured,
Now tastes revenge, all along my throat
where it pricked my cells
As it travelled, down and deep.

As lost as I was,
The world looked dark.
A cold so disturbed patted on me,
as the fatigue breeze found me in daze.
Carefully did it smile,
Noticing the scars along my neck.
A smile of the wise it was, I noticed.
And carried me to a chamber of mirrors,
Where I saw myself from within.

My blood had turned violet,
And smiles vigorous.
My heart, a vivid bloom,
Its dandelions, replaced by a corpse.
As it withered a thud onto my ribs,
A perplexed me realized
what I'd consumed,
And, what I surprisingly am filled with;

'Danger'!
