There is a war going on,
And it's very clear,
People are angry,
Tired of living in fear.
It really hurts,
All this trouble.
A soul was lost.
People sparked up.
It has been going on for years and years,
And finally people have come to voice out the fears.
How would someone with a heart, a soul and a mind,
Be so very cruel and hugely blind.
This isn't fair,
And neither is life.
But that doesn't mean we should kill and fight.
I agree with the protest,
I am a black too,
And seeing all this makes me proud of where we have come.
