we've know eachother for years
we shared our laughter and tears
I thought we would be
best friends for life
but I guess I'm the only one
trying to keep it alive
all I wanted was a birthday wish
and a phone call once a month at least
is it too much to ask
why am I the only one
whose trying to make it last
you talk to me when somethings wrong
or because of your ex
and when everything's alright
do I even cross your mind
tell me why am I the only one
trying to keep us alive
do I never cross your mind
atleast after such a long time?
