covid 19 - The pandemic
Before you I thought I was pretty sane,
strolling through life with little to no pain,
I've been as lost as Alice
but not as mad as the hatter,
but because of you I've learned the unpredictability of life, the importance of mental health and how much it matters.
I've been diagnosed with anxiety only through you, when our city went on lock down, all hell broke loose.
I thought I was sick, body failing couldn't move a muscle, no matter how much I tried only fear of death crawled inside.
To the hospital they took me, at high speed in the middle of the night, racing racing, racing, the ambulance, my mind, my heart, and every doctor in sight,
only to find out it was all done in vain, for my body isn't failing, my heart is fine, it's only my mental health screaming for excruciating pain, time after time.
