Are we in perilous times
when like horses
witness unmentionable things
live in fear
and get spooked
by everyday horrors
by the horrors of war
burying the dead
stitching their wounds
bandaging their torn heads
psychological damage done
can never be undone
there's a fine line
to the end
and where it all began
mankind
has seen it all
seen too much to bare
now they get the call
it's time to break free
run
if you can
run, run, never look back
it's too much
for any man
spooked like the horses
it's just too much for any man...
