So they trained the local working girls to throw the peace sign as a way to promote prostitution...unbeknownst to her. Now the 2 fingers spread in a V-shape represented 2 legs spread. Thus was the inside joke amongst everyone who wasn't her. So she had been unknowingly advertising that her va-jay-jay was for sale as she walked and gave her peace sign.
