Seeing you happy today makes you upset
you look at my life and don't have regrets
a lifetime of abuse that you inflicted on me
I wish I could walk away and just be free.
You sleep well at night while I'm still a mess
a lifetime of abuse and I'm feeling distressed
for a long time, I thought that I was insane
even though you caused me nothing but pain.
