A teacher is a wonderful creature,
And a great preacher.
Teaches us good things,
To make us good human beings.

A teacher cares, loves and gives good treats,
When angry, a teacher even beats.
Sometimes strict and stern,
With knowledge, helps us to learn.

A teacher is an architect of the society,
Who builds the future of the modern society.
Teaches righteousness, and path to progress,
Even supports us in times of distress.

A teacher carries the torch of enlightenment,
Even after the phase of retirement.
Brightens the world of darkness,
And sparkles the ideas of righteousness.
